Job summary

Navion of Rocky Mount is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Aide to join our team for a part-time shift from 3 PM to 7 PM. You will provide hands-on support with daily living activities, help residents feel at home, and build meaningful relationships with those in our care.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and a State CNA certification; CPR certification is preferred. Strong communication and the ability to work independently within a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for the senior population.
• High School diploma or GED.
• State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association) preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with team direction.
• Excellent oral communication with health professionals.
• Calm and professional under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information per HIPAA.
• Assist with daily living activities and assist with meals.
• Help with personal hygiene and bathing assistance.
• Provide adjunct patient care and comfort measures as needed.
• Monitor and record food intake and urinary/fecal output.
• Support coordination with physicians, caregivers, and nurses.
• Adhere to infection control precautions and safety procedures.
• Report safety violations and participate in emergency procedures.
