Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions in New Bern, NC is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Aide for part-time 1st shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities, prepare meals, and support a safe, home-like environment while documenting observations for the care team.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Observe, document and report changes to residents’ condition to the care team.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per state regulations and Navion policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and daily living activities.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist residents in dining room including serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Observe, document and report changes to residents’ condition to the care team.
• Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per state regulations and Navion policies.
• Transport residents when required.
