North Memorial Health in Maple Grove seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for operating room support. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and document perioperative care, collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing (bachelor's preferred), MN RN licensure, and at least 3 years of OR experience. English proficiency and strong teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience in an Operating Room.
• Strong communication skills with clear written and verbal abilities.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Current MN RN licensure and BLS certification; specialized certifications as listed.

Responsibilities

• Follow standards set by peri-operative nursing.
• Prepare OR suite for procedures with correct equipment and supplies.
• Assess customers pre-operatively and plan individualized care.
• Collaborate with health care team to provide surgical patient care.
• Position and prepare customer for procedures and document care in EMR.
• Reassess patient status and respond to changes appropriately.
• Communicate patient status to relevant departments and staff.
• Participate in patient safety policies and time-out debriefs.
