You will accession and manually process specimens, support quality assurance, and guide daily workflow while collaborating with supervisors and managers to drive process improvements and personnel development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• An Associate’s Degree (preferably in Science) with two years of lab processing experience is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Medical Laboratory Science can substitute for two years of experience.
• Four years of lab technician or comparable processing experience may substitute the Associate’s Degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Accession and manually process laboratory specimens with high accuracy.
• Support daily quality assurance activities and routine equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and SOPs.
• Guide day-to-day workflow and assist with problem-solving and communication.
• Provide training and performance feedback to team members; participate in meetings.
• Act as a technical resource and support process improvements.

Associate’s Degree in Science

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Medical Laboratory Science
