Job summary

The BridgeWay, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks an Intake Coordinator to manage the admission process for patients, coordinate referrals, gather information and schedule assessments. You will work closely with the Nursing Department and external clinicians to ensure a smooth workflow and accurate data entry into hospital systems.

This role requires strong communication, organizational skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with empathy.

Qualifications

• Excellent professional, organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of admitting and insurance verification.
• Must have ability to work under stressful circumstances with frequent interruptions, multi-task and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admission process for all patients by receiving referrals and scheduling assessments.
• Input statistical information into hospital systems and assist the Nursing Department and external clinicians.
