Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our evening shift in Joliet, IL. You will troubleshoot and repair hospital equipment, maintain logs, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment across mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant, and medical gas systems.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of experience, can read schematics/blueprints, hold a valid state driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment.
• Also maintain and repair equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
• Driving as needed for company business.
