Job summary

Cedar Lake Village, part of the Sanford system, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in our assisted living setting. You will perform daily living activities, monitor health needs, and assist with meals, under supervision of a charge nurse.

The role includes rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays, with earning potential and growth opportunities. We offer night/weekend differentials, education assistance, continuing education, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in assisted living preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Continuing education: 12 hours annually and maintenance of certifications.
• UAP Registry where applicable.
• Sanford Driver eligibility where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing).
• Record vital signs and provide psychosocial support.
• Assist with meals and dining; ensure positive dining experience.
• May assist with medications as delegated by a nurse, within scope.
• Document care outcomes, meds, behavior, and dietary notes.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE guidelines; participate in wellness activities.
• Work rotating shifts; weekends and holidays may be required.
