Job summary

ExpertCare in Southeast Michigan is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to work 1:1 with recipients in their homes. You will support, encourage and assist with skill-building activities, and help bring clients into the community to strengthen personal goals outside the home.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Caregivers should be compassionate, patient, dependable, and have strong communication skills, with the ability to follow care plans and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in clients' homes.
• Support, encourage, and help with skill-building activities.
• Accompany clients to community activities to support goals.
• Follow care plans and document progress as required.
