Job summary

Foundation 2 Crisis Services in Cedar Rapids, IA, is hiring a Full Time Shift Supervisor to lead Youth Specialists and ensure trauma-informed care for clients in crisis. You will model positive interactions, enforce boundaries, and oversee onboarding and training in a leadership role.

You will work Sunday through Wednesday evenings, manage a team, maintain documentation, respond quickly to crisis placements, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience working with at-risk youth required.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• High comfort with computers and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Live in Iowa and within 50 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed care and supervise Youth Specialists.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and continuing education.
• Maintain documentation and report disciplinary actions.
• On-call leadership for shelter program on a rotating schedule.
• Respond promptly to client placement calls (within one hour).
