Job summary

Child Crisis Arizona is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians for our Group Home and Emergency Shelter. The role focuses on direct supervision of youth, ensuring a safe environment and supporting daily routines including meals, housing duties, medication administration, and activities.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21, and possess at least one year of youth supervision experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
One year of experience supervising, nurturing, and meeting the basic needs for youth.
Must have a clean five-year motor vehicle history and a valid Arizona Driver’s license.
A Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain one before start.
CPI Certification or prior de-escalation and behavior management training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Direct supervision of youth in group home and emergency shelter.
Provide a safe, secure environment to support emotional well‑being.
Assist in daily routines: food service, housekeeping, medication administration, and client groups.
Lead or assist with off-site activities like sports and movies.
Document activities and behavior according to agency protocols.
