Job summary

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience as a package handler or switcher/CDL operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers between yard and doors (switching).
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Demonstrate safe yard switching procedures.
• Load/unload packages onto/from vehicles, trailers, or carts.
• Sort packages by scanning labels and numbers.
