Job summary

Qualtronics is seeking a production assembler to support wire harness assembly. You will operate production equipment and terminate wires and cables, on the 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift with a $1 shift differential.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to read English, pay close attention to detail, and work with minimal supervision while meeting quality and timeline requirements. Experience with hand tools, basic mechanical concepts, and the ability to lift 25–40 pounds

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and understand English work documents.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in execution.

Responsibilities

  • Apply terminals using termination equipment in accordance with production documentation and standards
  • Apply terminals manually with appropriate tools in accordance with production standards and documentation
  • Examine work to ensure it is done in accordance with production standards
  • Prepare wires and cables for production in accordance with production documentation and standards
  • Control equipment and materials in an appropriate manner
  • Detect and report equipment malfunctions promptly to management
  • Complete production documentation in accordance with production standards
  • Notify management of material defects
  • Use tools and equipment properly to minimize downtime and tool breakage
  • Manage own work load for maximum efficiency
  • Adheres to all ISO requirements related to the work area
  • Perform other duties reasonably related to the position as assigned
