You will read orders, set up, weld, and inspect joints, ensuring quality while meeting production quotas. Training in welding and adherence to EMS policies are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Formal trade school program with a welding concentration, apprenticeship or on-the-job training.
• Ability to read and understand detailed work orders and blueprints.
• Completion of welding-related training with focus on safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand detailed work orders and blueprints.
• Move core into/out of welding booth and position on table.
• Match tanks to sides of core based on blueprint instructions.
• Tack corners and position tanks with a hammer.
• Operate welding equipment to control current/voltage for welding tasks.
• Weld additional components as required by blueprint instructions.
• Weld all sides of the core and perform wash-down on corners.
• Document and stamp the cooler after welding.
• Meet production quotas and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Report issues to supervisor promptly and follow EMS policies.
