Job summary

Peak Beverage / 828 Venue Management Company seeks a Venue Event Captain to lead onsite operations and guest experience for each event. You will oversee venue operations, beverage service, bartender leadership, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless execution.

Reporting to the Senior Venue Event Captain, this part-time role supports venue services and operations with potential for additional hours. Requirements include 2+ years in hospitality, bartending, current alcohol service

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in hospitality, events, venue, or related fields.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Current alcohol service certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation and access to a working computer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite venue representative during assigned event shifts.
• Deliver hospitality to clients, guests, vendors, and partners.
• Identify and resolve issues to minimize disruptions.
• Assist with event flow and operations per standards and client expectations.
• Document event details and concerns for management.
