Family Pathways is seeking a Part-Time (Evenings/Weekends) Domestic Violence Shelter Advocate in Cambridge, MN. The role involves crisis intervention, direct service, and systems advocacy for shelter residents.

A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, with a 24-hour crisis line and coordinated case planning to support residents through their stay. The position emphasizes trauma-informed care, safety planning, and collaboration with staff to meet residents’ needs.

Formación

• Provide support, advocacy, crisis intervention, information, and referral via a 24-hour crisis line.
• Facilitate case planning and coordinate personal/legal advocacy for residents.
• Complete intake forms for new residents within 24 hours of entry.
• Plan resident groups and activities as needed.
• Help residents develop problem-solving, crisis management, and de-escalation skills.
• Provide transportation for residents when necessary.
• Must have a clean MVR and pass fingerprint background check.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver crisis intervention and direct services in a shelter setting.
• Coordinate with staff for case planning and advocacy.
• Orient residents to the shelter and explain available services.
• Organize groups and activities for residents.
