Job summary

The Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls is seeking experienced RNs to join our team as a full-time evening shift supervisor (2pm–10pm) with weekend options.

Candidates must hold an active NY RN license and have prior Nursing Home experience. Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, ensuring staff follow job descriptions, admitting and discharging residents, and participating in rounds and surveys as required.

Qualifications

• Position involves supervisor responsibilities and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct day to day nursing care operations in accordance with regulations.
• Ensure nursing staff follow their job descriptions.
• Assist in admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Greet and assess all new admissions.
• Monitor incident reports and document appropriately.
• Provide leadership and supervise staff meetings and in-services.
• Review resident care plans for quality and accuracy.
• Review grievances and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Document nursing care and resident responses; monitor changes.
• Participate in surveys and provide shift reports and recommendations.
• Perform admin duties such as forms, charts, and QA activities.
