Job summary

No Longer Bound Inc in Cumming, GA is seeking a Resident Technician for the second shift. This part-time role runs Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays from 2-10 pm, supporting residents in a residential addiction treatment setting and helping maintain safety and structure.

The position emphasizes compassionate patient care, vigilance, and teamwork. A high school diploma and strong communication skills are required; prior treatment facility experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible schedule.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and supportive environment for residents in a residential addiction treatment facility.
• Monitor resident location and behavior and report concerns to the Program Team.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to residents throughout their treatment.
• Ensure resident safety by monitoring the facility and responding to emergencies.
• Assist with resident transportation and escort residents to appointments as needed.
• Assist with drug screens and searches (person and property).
• Monitor the campus to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training and development.
