Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Residential Manager 3 to oversee daily operations of a residential home or day program for individuals with disabilities. You will provide direct care support and coordinate program duties, ensuring services meet regulatory standards and funding requirements.

You will lead staff, manage documentation, training, and coordination with nursing and management, while maintaining budgetary controls and ensuring a safe, supportive environment that promotes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DSP Certification or Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead staff or shift leader and coordinate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to meet performance standards and adhere to agency requirements, mission, goals, and principles.
• Provide leadership to create a positive work climate and cohesive team, communicating concerns to on-call/management in absence of on-site manager.
• Ensure services and documentation meet DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and Bridgewell policies.
• Create opportunities and support individuals to develop skills and independence.
• Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs and secure appropriate services.
• Transport individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with funding sources, community groups, families, and other providers.
• Monitor petty cash and maintain spending within budgetary limits.
• Provide interim coverage during PD absence per program management instructions.
• Maintain CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, MAP, PABC, and Driver Safety certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
