Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years administrative experience in a cultural nonprofit or academic environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee class registration and student enrollment.
  • Attend to client class registration needs.
  • Maintain and update class registration database.
  • Process and distribute enrollment forms and related materials.
  • Process cash receipts, refunds and credits.
  • Answer phones and direct calls.
  • Greet and assist students and visitors with professional service.
  • Stay informed on schedules, policies and procedures to inform stakeholders.
  • Schedule facility rentals.
  • Handle, process, and record art sales.
  • Assist with guest lists for exhibitions and events.
  • Survey the facility for safety and security.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures efficiently.
  • Ensure reception area remains clean and organized.
  • Attend events as necessary and support related duties.
