Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in King of Prussia is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients, collect demographic and insurance information, collect payments, and reconcile daily services while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

The role involves EPIC check-in/out, eligibility verification, invoicing, appointment scheduling, and triaging calls. Shifts are part-time with a 1:30PM-8:30PM schedule and weekend rotations; vaccine requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in patient services/healthcare or related customer service.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsabilités

• Provide welcoming, prompt, respectful customer service and schedule appointments.
• Perform EPIC check-in/out and enter demographic/insurance data with accuracy.
• Reconcile daily services, collect payments, and obtain referrals/authorizations.
• Answer phones, document messages, and triage calls to appropriate providers.
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA-compliant daily schedules.
• Support billing tasks and on-call coverage as needed.
