Job summary

bcrta is seeking a part-time Operations Supervisor I for our Hamilton, OH location. This role focuses on entry-level dispatch and customer service tasks, requiring strong operational oversight capabilities and a high school diploma.

The ideal candidate will work Saturday and Sunday evenings during the school year, ensuring smooth communications between bus operators and clients while responding to inquiries and managing service operations. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a vehicle operator, dispatcher, or in a customer service role.
• Completion of or ability to complete BCRTA’s Behind‐The‑Wheel Trainer Program.

Responsibilities

• Operate base radio console to transmit and receive routine and emergency messages.
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with trip scheduling.
• Assist in preparing and managing daily schedules and operator manifests.
• Enforce BCRTA policies and procedures.
• Track and maintain operational data.
