Job summary

LSU Eunice invites applications for an on-site, 12-month Evening-Weekend Nursing Program Instructor. The position is based in Eunice and Lafayette campuses and reports to the Nursing Program Director.

Responsibilities include teaching across the nursing curriculum, advising students, grading, clinical and lab supervision, exams, and ensuring LASBN/ACEN compliance while upholding DEI and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice nursing in Louisiana (or compact state) must be maintained.
• Ability to model professional behavior and collaborate with faculty and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated experiences to implement the curriculum design for the Evening-Weekend Nursing Program.
• Facilitate learning in classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated environments across the nursing curriculum.
• Maintain control of the learning environment and provide timely feedback and assessment of student progress.
• Advise students and support personal development, including coping with clinical stress and workload expectations.
• Coordinate and supervise clinical experiences and ensure compliance with LASBN, ACEN, and other standards.
