Job summary

Fletcher Technical Community College seeks an Adjunct Nursing Instructor to lead evening and weekend clinical instruction in Schriever, LA. You will supervise students in clinical settings, provide feedback, and collaborate with clinical partners to ensure alignment with curriculum.

Required are a current Louisiana RN license and a master's in nursing (or BSN with MSN plan within two years). Travel to clinical sites may be required; mileage reimbursement is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Master’s in nursing from a regionally accredited institution or a BSN with MSN plan within two years.
• Current, unencumbered Louisiana RN license.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing practice.
• Experience in obstetrics, pediatrics, or mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead evening and weekend clinical instruction with simulation labs as applicable.
• Supervise and evaluate students in clinical settings and foster critical thinking.
• Provide timely feedback, mentor students, and connect to campus resources.
• Collaborate with clinical partners to review objectives and environments.
• Prepare materials and syllabi, maintain attendance and grading records.
• Create a respectful, accessible learning environment meeting accreditation requirements.
