Job summary

Louisiana State University Eunice (LSUE) invites applications for an on-site Instructor of Nursing. The position supports the Nursing Program Director with teaching, advising, grading, and course preparation across the curriculum to meet LASBN and ACEN standards.

Responsibilities include developing classroom and clinical experiences, supervising simulations, evaluating student progress, and ensuring timely feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Must be enrolled in a graduate nursing program by date of hire.
• Preferred: Ph.D. in Nursing Practice or Ph.D. in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution; active, unencumbered license in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Develop classroom, clinical, laboratory, and simulated experiences to implement the curriculum design and facilitate learning across settings.
• Maintain control of the learning environment and provide timely feedback to students.
• Evaluate student achievement of program outcomes and coordinate examinations, assessments, and course policies.
• Ensure compliance with LASBN, ACEN, and other regulatory requirements and participate in curriculum/syllabi development.
• Participate in interviews, recruitment, orientation, and program committee activities; support program mission and budget planning.
