Heritage Villa is seeking a Laundry Assistant for full-time evening shifts (2:30p-10:30p) and weekend doubles. The role involves loading, sorting, and processing laundry, ensuring sanitation and quality, and contributing to resident safety in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and follow written policies.
• Experience with basic computer tasks preferred.
• Excellent communication with staff and residents’ families.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washer/dryer and manage inventory.
• Sort, mend, and fold linens; ensure items are properly identified.
• Lubricate and operate laundry machines; follow safety procedures.
• Read and follow equipment operation manuals and infection control rules.
• Support a culture of safety and quality in daily tasks.
