Job summary

Memorial Coliseum is seeking a part-time Event Supervisor to oversee events at the Coliseum and Expo Center, including the Expo Conference Center and meeting rooms.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, 1+ year of event coordination experience, and proficiency with Momentus, DataCad, and Daktronics Venus Control Suite. Strong communication and the ability to manage schedules are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year experience in event planning/coordination or venue operations.
• Experience with Momentus, DataCad, DVN/Daktronics tools preferred.
• Strong written and spoken communication for guests, clients, vendors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and learning new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities with promoters, exhibitors, vendors, and departments for all events.
• Supervise on-site during private events and ensure smooth execution.
• Assist with room diagrams, event sheets, and fire code compliance.
