Job summary

Vanderbilt University’s Dyer Observatory is seeking an Event Assistant to represent the organization at public and private events in Nashville. Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional, outward-facing representative for Vanderbilt during events.
• Assist with and oversee setup and tear-down, restoring spaces after events.
• Be on-site point of contact, answering questions and guiding guests.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, and organizers to support day-of logistics.
