Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, is hiring a caregiver to join our mission-driven team in Garfield Heights, OH. The role focuses on helping individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities live well and participate in their community.

This weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) offers meaningful, hands-on care, including personal hygiene support, daily living assistance, and progress toward goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with their personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants work toward goals in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Foster meaningful relationships and encourage community participation.
