You’ll support participants in personal care, independence, and community involvement. We value compassion and reliability, and offer pathways for development within Sevita’s network.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, proof of education is required.
• Age: Minimum 18 years of age.
• Experience: Six months in settings with intellectual disabilities or behavioral health preferred.
• Skills: Effective communication, adaptability, teamwork and time management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Be proud of rewarding work helping people grow, learn, and live well.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Experience ownership and trust from your leaders to do what’s right for participants.
• Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Assist with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other needs.
