Job summary

REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a caregiver to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role includes assisting with daily activities, transportation, and community participation, with a focus on dignity and independence.

Full-time position with specified weekend shifts and a starting wage of $17 per hour. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and meet Sevita’s insurability standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; proof of education is required.
• Age requirement: minimum 18 years.
• Six months’ experience with intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health preferred.
• Skills: communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible.
• Vehicle: valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
