Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America in Golden Valley, MN is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with daily tasks and personal care in home and community settings. Shifts include evenings Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 3:00pm - 9:00pm, with every other weekend.

You will help with meals, transportation, and medication administration, and may use a company vehicle or your own. Must have English proficiency, a vehicle with current insurance, and DHS Background Study

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ for Adult Programs.
• Must be 21+ for Youth Programs.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Must have a vehicle with current car insurance.
• Clean driving record as per policy.
• Wi‑Fi enabled device for work.
• Background clearance required by DHS.
• Comfort with personal cares and medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with meals, outings, personal hygiene, shopping, and medications.
• Support personal cares and daily living tasks as needed.
• Respond to interfering behaviors and ensure safety.
• Provide transportation in the community using company vehicle or personal car.
• Collaborate with team to work toward individualized outcomes.
