Excel Care LLC is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Minnesota. The role involves assisting a St. Paul-based client with daily living activities, homemaking, safety, and transportation within the community. This position offers flexible hours and part-time scheduling.

The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with empathy and strong communication skills to observe changes and report to supervisors.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience providing direct care to individuals or vulnerable populations.
• Empathy and compassion while providing care.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Homemaking
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
• Assisting with hygiene management
• Independent living skills: Help each client reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with daily living activities.
• Documentation of daily activities
• Communication regarding concerns of the clients: Observe client and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Transporting clients within the community: Assisting with appointment setting, taking to and from appointments, assist with Shopping
• Complete other duties as assigned.
