Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Long Prairie, MN. You will assist individuals with daily living tasks, meal prep, community outings, personal care, and medication administration. A company vehicle may be provided for some outings. Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and be comfortable handling

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to support Adult Programs.
• Must be 21 years or older to support Youth Programs.
• Proficient in spoken and written English language.
• Have a vehicle to use for work with current insurance.
• Able to pass a DHS Background Study clearance.
• Wi-Fi-enabled device for work purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks and personal cares.
• Support meal preparation, shopping, outings, and medication administration.
• Provide transportation and accompany individuals to community activities.
• Respond to interfering behaviors and support life skills development.
• Maintain supervision and documentation; follow program plans.
