Qualifications

• Must have the ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; deal with a few concrete variables.
• Ability to do simple addition and subtraction; copying figures, counting and recording.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; writes identifying information request supplies orally or in writing, increased contact with people.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service.
• Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading heavy items.
• Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly service to customers.
• Cleans and maintains front-end areas, shelves and back room.
• Helps train new courtesy clerks.
• Checks prices on products and stocks shelves.
