Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Richmond, VA seeks a courteous Cashier/Member Services Associate to process member purchases, renewals, and payments, while providing friendly service.

You’ll help maintain clean front-line areas, handle scanning, and assist Members with promotions and loyalty programs. This role offers weekly pay, health benefits, PTO, and a path for growth within a team that values inclusion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including renewals and BJ’s Loyalty programs.
• Offers all appropriate membership products such as renewal options and rewards redemption.
• Provides a high level of customer service to Members and checks out Members in a timely manner.
• Operates POS to scan merchandise, verify transactions, and maintain accurate totals.
• Maintains cleanliness of the frontline area and assists in general club housekeeping.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is required.
