Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a friendly cashier to process member purchases, assist at self-checkout, and maintain welcoming service.

You'll handle member renewals, scanning merchandise, and accepting payments while upholding club standards. The role emphasizes accuracy, speed at checkout, and delivering excellent member service in a fast-paced environment with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand all BJ’s Membership options, including renewals and loyalty programs.
• Offer all appropriate membership products such as renewal and rewards redemption.
• Provide a high level of customer service to Members at checkout.
• Scan merchandise with a POS system to ensure accurate counts and totals.
• Collect payments and issue receipts to Members.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the frontline area.
