Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Falls Church, VA is hiring for a cashier/membership associate to deliver friendly service at every checkout and help Members choose the right membership options.

You will scan merchandise, process payments, handle renewals and upgrades, and maintain a clean front-end area while upholding club standards.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs.
• Offer all appropriate membership products such as membership renewal and Rewards redemption.
• Provides a high level of customer service to Members and processes transactions efficiently.
• Scans club merchandise through a POS system to ensure accurate inventory counts and purchase totals.
• Collects payments via cash, check, or other charge payments from members.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the frontline area and adheres to club policies.
