Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. in the United States is seeking a Part-time Verifier/Checker for Monday–Friday, 5:00pm–10:00pm.

You will work in our warehouse to verify products, match packing slips to P.O.s, and inspect shipments for accuracy, using item numbers, descriptions and counts. Responsibilities include applying bar code labels, scanning into the warehouse system, handling inter-warehouse transfers, operating powered equipment, staging product, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse software.
• Willingness to work overtime to meet customer needs.
• Valid state driver's license where required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Verify products and match packing slips to P.O. numbers using item data and counts.
• Inspect boxes for damage, resolve discrepancies through research.
• Create/apply bar codes and scan into the warehouse system.
• Handle all incoming inter-warehouse transfers and transfers between bays.
• Operate pallet jacks/forklifts and stage product for put-away.
• Support other departments as needed and follow safety guidelines.
