Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to manage inbound shipments, inspect products, and ensure items are saleable for resale. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to company standards while coordinating with carriers and internal teams.

Position may require night shifts and the ability to work in warm/cold conditions. Benefits begin after 60 days, with paid time off, holidays, and additional programs to support employees.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably prior receiving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product condition as it arrives from carriers.
• Document overages/shortages/damages, expiration dates, and temperature.
• Direct carriers and unloaders on sorting and segregation of product.
• Maintain product integrity per McLane Company standards.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders, and assign doors.
• Cover Receiving Clerk as needed.
• Follow company safety and work rules and meet production standards.
• Minimize mispicks, shorts, and damages; work independently or as a team.
