Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Order Selector for the Consolidated Services Center East in Van Buren Township. This full-time, 2nd-shift role runs 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

and is temporary through winter 2027. You will efficiently select, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping, using warehouse equipment and inventory systems. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least three months in a warehouse, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months of warehouse/store room experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff in the delivery of materials.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders carefully to understand specifications.
• Locate and select specific warehouse items based on order requirements.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to stack items and prepare orders for shipping.
• Ensure accuracy in order selection and packaging.
• Place prepared orders in the correct dock slips for loading onto shipping trucks.
• Perform visual inspections to verify order correctness and readiness for shipment.
• Label order shipments accurately for easy identification.
• Apply shrink wrap to prepared orders before shipping.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and other workers while transporting items.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
