Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Order Selector to join our warehouse team. In this full‑time role, you will read orders, locate items, and prepare shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks. You will ensure accuracy, label shipments, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The position is full-time, 2nd shift from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., temporary through Winter 2027, at SITE - Consolidated Services Center East in Van Buren Township.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of three months of warehouse/store room experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff in the delivery of materials.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders carefully to understand specifications.
• Locate and select specific warehouse items based on order requirements.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to stack items and prepare orders for shipping.
• Ensure accuracy in order selection and packaging.
• Place prepared orders in the correct dock slips for loading onto shipping trucks.
• Perform visual inspections to verify order correctness and readiness for shipment.
• Label order shipments accurately for easy identification.
• Apply shrink wrap to prepared orders before shipping.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures when operating equipment.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and other workers while transporting items.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times.
