Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support bulk and material handling operations in a fast-paced Ohio facility. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment to move products up to 100 lbs, ensuring safety and accuracy in every task.

You may take on roles such as Warehouse Operator, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, or Shipping, with on-the-job training and potential overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime hours will be required based on business need.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• You must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move products up to 100 lbs within the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties inside and outside the facility.
• Assist with receiving, putaway, returns, and shipping tasks as needed.
• Unloading trucks and palletizing products, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace in a fast-paced environment.
