Job summary

Staples, Inc. in Putnam, CT, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our World Class Supply Chain Team. You may work in several areas including Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operation, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving, Returns, and Shipping.

You'll operate forklifts and other equipment, lift up to 100 lbs, and help keep the facility safe and efficient. The role requires flexibility in shift and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum three months related experience in a warehouse.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work overtime and heights up to 60 feet as needed.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Wear safety composite shoes and lift 70-100 lbs by hand.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick product up to 100 lbs.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties in the facility.
• Receive/putaway/returns tasks and verify product accuracy.
• Assist in shipping: organize, stack, shrink-wrap, and load trucks.
• Ensure safety practices and support efficient warehouse operations.
• May be moved between roles as needed.
