Job summary

Wilson Sporting Goods Co. in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, is seeking a 2nd shift Janitor to support daily warehouse operations. The role offers an hourly wage of $17.75 plus a 10% shift differential and up to three weeks of paid time off in the first year.

You will maintain the facility and warehouse equipment, perform cleaning tasks, and ensure safety standards are met. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work a 3:00pm–11:30pm CST shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Janitor or similar role.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds, regularly.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the daily activities and operations of the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse.
• Under limited supervision, performs an array of semi-skilled functions that support the maintenance of the facility and its warehouse equipment; and performs related duties as assigned.
• Clean and maintain designated areas of the warehouse, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and break areas.
• Empty trash bins and recycling bins regularly.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with warehouse-related tasks as needed.
• Always follow health and safety regulations.
