Job summary

National Oak Distributors is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in California. Shift is Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm, focusing on receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities.

You will perform order picking, packing, labeling, and use RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment. Ideal candidates have experience with pallet jacks, cycle counting, and strong communication skills, able to work independently or as part of a team in a

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• General knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and order processing.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language.
• Experience with order picking and packaging.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare shipments with packaging and labeling compliant with shipping regulations.
• Operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment safely.
• Perform cycle counting and inventory management tasks.
• Load and unload trucks and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with shipping/receiving processes including data entry.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
