Job summary

National Oak Distributors (NOD) is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to support receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities. The role focuses on order picking, packaging, labeling, and inventory accuracy using RF scanners.

You will contribute to efficient order fulfillment, operate pallet jacks, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
• General knowledge of inventory management principles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and order processing.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with order picking and packaging.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments against POs.
• Sort, store, and organize inventory.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Prepare shipments with packaging and labeling.
• Operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment.
• Perform cycle counting and inventory checks.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse.
• Assist shipping/receiving processes and data entry.
• Provide excellent customer service for inquiries.
