Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a warehouse associate in Buford, GA to perform a mix of manual and automated tasks for receiving, storing and shipping products. The role includes RF scanning, voice picking, forklift operation, and palletizing duties across Inbound and Outbound sections.

The position requires 50 lb lifting, standing for long shifts, and overtime with little notice. Benefits and safety training are provided as part of Cardinal Health's comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Previous material handling experience strongly preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours or more.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas (Inbound, ValueLink, Outbound).
• Receive large boxes on dock, scan with RF scanner, input data.
• Break down cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse.
• Use voice to pick to select items and place on carts.
• Palletize items for shipping and wrap as needed.
• Drive material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret, pallet jack, walkie rider).
• Follow SOPs and quality guidelines; report issues to supervisor.
