Job summary

Study Smart Tutors invites tutors to join our virtual program, delivering subject tutoring in biology, chemistry, computer science, calculus, and statistics to college students. You will arrange sessions, access assignment details, and adapt materials to optimize learning outcomes.

Hours are in the evening Monday through Thursday; a completed 4-year degree and background check are required. Enjoy supportive staff and growth opportunities in a flexible, remote tutoring role.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• Virtual opportunity.
• Scheduled hours: Monday to Thursday from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM EST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
