Job summary

EASY AS PI LEARNING LLC in Florida is seeking tutors to join a flexible, client-centered team. You will provide one-on-one or small group tutoring online or in person for high school and college students in Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, plus ACT/SAT/ASVAB/HSPT prep.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of tutoring experience, strong communication, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of high school and/or college tutoring experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers.
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students online and in person in listed STEM and ACT/SAT/ASVAB/HSPT subjects.
• Assist students with homework and test preparation.
• Use engaging teaching strategies and monitor progress in session reports.
• Collaborate with teachers to align tutoring with curriculum.
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Reliably commute from client to client.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students both online and in person high school and/or college in the following subject areas: Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, ACT/SAT/ASVAB/HSPT. Preference will be given to applicants capable of tutoring humanities courses in addition to the above STEM courses.
• Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback in session reports to admin, parents/guardians, and teachers
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align tutoring sessions with classroom curriculum
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Reliably commute from client to client

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of high school and/or college tutoring experience
• Previous experience working with students, preferably in a high school and/or college setting
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
