Job summary

The Commons in Lincoln, a Benchmark Senior Living campus, is seeking a part-time Driver (Van Driver) to provide transportation for residents. Join a team focused on community, support, and meaningful connections with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, assisting on excursions, transporting residents to appointments and outings, and monitoring safety during activities. Prior experience with the elderly is valued; a high school diploma and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Education – High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in the elderly and knowledge of their needs.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles in accordance with warranty requirements and internal maintenance plan to ensure safe operation.
• Act as an Activity Assistant when on excursions and stay with the group.
• Transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings and shopping trips.
• Monitor resident activity and alert staff to ensure resident safety.
